The OBJECT of the game is to try to solve the mystery riddle word(s), phrase, title or name by selecting from consonants, numbers, symbols or vowels. The mystery riddle to be solved May or May not be spelled correctly. And there's no separation between multiple words in the riddle. (The ENTIRE riddle needs to be physically completed, shouting out the answer is NOT permitted.)
Play begins with an initial Category clue along with a number of blank lines that correspond with the mystery riddle answer. Each blank line is worth 3 points when correct selection is made. After the last clue is given start over with the first clue. There are a total of 10 blanks available and each mystery riddle has at least 9 or 10 clues. The player can make 1 selection from consonants, numbers, symbols, or vowels to solve part of the mystery riddle. Correct selections are inserted on the appropriate blank. The player has 10 seconds to make a selection before the next clue is given. If the selection chosen is not in the mystery riddle the next clue is immediately.
In Head-to-Head format the players alternate, one acts as the clue giver while the other plays. The player has 10 seconds to make a selection before the next clue is given and 2 minutes to solve the mystery riddle. The player receives another clue whether their selection is correct or not. For every incorrect selection from the consonant, number and symbol list the player loses 1 point. For incorrect selections from the vowel list the player loses 2 points. If the player successfully solves the mystery riddle they receive 3 points for every correct selection minus the points lost for incorrect selections. Once the mystery riddle is solved tally up their score. Then switch positions, the clue giver becomes the player, and the player becomes the clue giver, until one player reaches the predetermined winning total. (ie 150 points)
For Round Robin format 3 or more players, the designated clue giver rotates with the lowest scoring player. The players rotate after a wrong selection is made or the previous players 10 second timer expires. The point system can remain the same with each correct selection receiving 3 points. When a player successfully solves the mystery riddle, record the scores and play another round. When one player reaches the predetermined winning total. (ie 150 points) the player with the LOWEST score becomes the CLUE GIVER for the next round.
Cut-Throat elimination format for 3 or more players, allow each player to attempt to solve the mystery riddle in 2 minutes. The player has 10 seconds to make a selection before the next clue is given. If they successfully solve the mystery riddle they stay in the game, if they don't they're eliminated and therefore are eligible to be the next clue giver. The clue giver can be a designated non-player or an eliminated player. No scoring is required, the last player to solve a riddle has bragging rights as the Ridl Master.
RIDL YE THIS Default Rules for Pre-teens and adults: 2 minutes to solve mystery riddle; rotating clues are announced every 10 seconds; for wrong number, consonants or symbol selection subtract 1 point, for wrong vowel selection subtract 2 points and for correct selections add 3 points. To achieve competitive balance all the default rules can be modified prior to gameplay to suit the riddle solving skills of each individual player or group of players. (Feel free to REDUCE or INCREASE the time to adjust degree of difficulty and fun. For example children and adults can play together by increasing the timer for children and/or decreasing the timer for any BRAINIAC'S playing. Penalty points can also be increased/decreased.)

During the game when a SELECTION is made, cover the selection with a Game Tile so that no one can later make the same selection.
